Through the Nursing Home Outreach, participants have the privilege of sharing and spreading the love of Christ by sharing the gospel through word and deed. Through the ministry, one can see the Lord comfort the lonely, encourage the downhearted, and even change lives…many times the lives changed are our very own. On the first Thursday of every month, a prayer service is held at 2:30 at the Laurels of Galesburg, which members of the outreach can attend. Participants of the Nursing Home Outreach can also visit the residents of the Laurels anytime, at one’s convenience, to offer friendship, encouragement, and prayer for those who welcome it. At Christmas, tags are also made for the St. Ann Parish giving tree for residents at the Laurels.
