Life Chain is a peaceful, prayerful public witness of pro-life Americans standing in remembrance of 60 million lives lost to abortion, praying for our nation, for people in crisis situations, and for an end to abortion. It is a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children, hurts women and men, and that the Church supports the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception to natural death. WHY do we pray in front of Planned Parenthood??
Abortion appointment cancellations increase by 70% when people are presently praying.
People in crisis are looking for a sign to help them decide what to do.
To love is to sacrifice. In our busy lives, TIME is the most precious gift we can offer in love to God.
We can imagine the horror of learning that our sibling or child has planned to have an abortion. We would beg God to put someone in their path to show them another way. Why do we stand and pray - to BE the one we would wish for our own beloved sibling or child.
Hyde Amendment Petition
Save Hyde. Save lives. Taxpayer dollars should NOT pay for abortion. The majority of Americans agree with this - both Democrats and Republicans. For 45 years, the Hyde amendment and similar laws have protected taxpayers from being forced to pay for elective abortions. Click HERE to learn more about the Hyde Amendment.
Do not force Americans to subsidize the taking of innocent life. Oppose any bill, including any appropriations bill, that expands taxpayer funding of abortion. Add your name: www.notaxpayerabortion.com Contact your congressman directly by going to www.congress.gov/members/find-your-member.
Who We Are
Relying on God’s inspiration and guidance, the St. Ann Parish’s Respect Life Group seeks to inspire the parish to witness to the truth of the Catholic Church’s teachings on the dignity of all human persons, to increase their understanding of her reasons for these teachings, and to help rebuild a Culture of Life. The group does this by coordinating and encouraging participation in communal and individual prayer, promoting pro-life activities, providing pro-life information to parishioners, and fostering a sense of community among those who desire to support the Culture of Life.
